| This was my first truly large format image and it is an amalgamation of visual and text elements. It is a look at the ideas of conservation and renewable resources and uses the power pole image shown on the previous page.
Although negative in textual theme, I hope that the use of colours suggests that there is underlying strength and hope for the future. If I was totally despondent about the way things are going now I’d just leave the canvas black! When this image was first created it took three hours to RIP and another three hours to print which was quite expensive back in 1998. The same image would print in about 15 minutes in 2006! |
